Welome to CET 1178 A+ Certification. The sequence of A+ certification class, will prepare you to embark on a career in Information Technology (IT). This course covers the fundamentals of digital electronics, computer hardware, and operating systems. The many lab exercises will give you hands-on application of the theory. The A+ certification exam was created by the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), and is targeted for entry-level computer service technicians with at least 6 months on-the-job experience. The A+ certification is recommended as the foundation knowledge before you attempt other courses that will lead you to Microsoft (MCSE) or Cisco certifications.
